2.3 Location Data
Locus Guide uses your device's GPS to provide audio tours that play automatically as you walk. 3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service (account management, tour delivery)
- To save your tour progress so you can resume where you left off
- To deliver content in your preferred language
- To improve the Service (aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics)

4. Cookies and Local Storage
Our website uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.
The mobile application uses local device storage to cache tour content for offline use. This data remains on your device and is not shared.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
5.1 Firebase Authentication (Google)
We use Firebase Authentication to manage user sign-in. Firebase may collect device identifiers and IP addresses as described in Firebase's Privacy Policy.
5.2 OpenStreetMap
Map tiles displayed in the app and on our website are provided by OpenStreetMap contributors. When maps load, your device connects to tile servers, which may log IP addresses. See the OpenStreetMap Privacy Policy for details.
5.3 Apple App Store / Google Play
If you download the app or make purchases, those transactions are governed by the respective store's privacy policies. We do not receive or store your payment information.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Third-party services listed in Section 5, solely to operate the Service

- Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of BigRENDER LLC, our users, or the public
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Usage data is retained in aggregated, non-identifying form. If you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), secure server infrastructure, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
